Father & Son Moving & Storage

I had to book movers last minute for my daughter and Father & Son Moving & Storage came through for us in the best way. They were incredibly flexible and worked with her schedule to make everything happen smoothly. Felix and Rashad handled the move and they were kind, efficient, and wonderful from start to finish. They took great care of her belongings, communicated clearly, and made a stressful situation so much easier. I am very grateful for their help and highly recommend Father & Son Moving & Storage to anyone who needs reliable and professional movers.

Hired Father & Son to move 8 collectible classic motorcycles from the second floor of the house. Bikes are rare and restored, so carefulness was top priority. Michael’s team carried out the assignment meticulously, without a single issue, leaving the bikes and the rest of the house safe and without a single flaw. Greatly appreciate their professionalism, patience, carefulness, and attention to detail.

Great to work with both in planning and execution. We had a tight window for access in our new place in Hermosa Beach and they were able to transfer our goods from our Old Dominion trailer in Long Beach and deliver to our new place. They were right on time and got everything loaded in quickly and efficiently. They set out cones, had a good rhythm and system and did a safe job. Would definitely use them again for next move!

My boyfriend and I hired this company for the first time to assist us with moving his 1 bedroom apartment into a storage unit … our movers were Alen and Oleg. The rates were pretty reasonable compared to the other companies we called.. they quoted us $99 per hour with a 3 hour minimum and additional fuel fee .: which was not too bad at all …They were not only professional , but extremely nice and punctual .. they got started right away with packing things as soon as they got there .. most movers bs around to kill Time and make more money but not these guys they were quick and didn’t go over the 3 hours they quoted us .. I would definitely recommend them again and look forward to using them when my boyfriend and I move into our house next year ! Thanks again guys :)

AMAZING COMPANY!! They were so efficient and swift. I was under a lot of stress and Ryan helped me through it as well. Sam and Olzhas were very sweet and helped me pack everything up. I was scared the tv would break or have trouble with a few items but they were both very careful with my boxes. I really appreciate them and the easy move, I recommended them to my family members and friends!

Best moving company we have ever used! And prices were better than anyone else I called. Mike and Sarah, who I spoke with to schedule and coordinate, were so lovely, helpful, and calming. The 4 movers on the day (Fernando, Juan, Jimmy, and I feel terrible, but I forgot the last guy's name) were just so good all around, moved our large furniture effortlessly, and packed and secured all our fragile items incredibly well. They moved a big house full of too much stuff in record time and I can’t thank them enough. I hope we never have to move ever again, but if we do, we will definitely be using Father & Sons again. I used Father & Son Moving in October 2024 for a move from a storage unit to an apartment. (This is a delayed posting.) The scheduling component was easy - I am thankful for that. However, for the price, I was severely let down by the work. Two middle aged guys showed up w/ a semi-truck (72') fit for a cross country move. It was unnecessarily large for an in-town 1 bedroom apartment move and they drove it VERY slowly on the city streets, maximizing (double) drive time. They did not show up w/ back braces, knee braces or work gloves - or water and food - despite claiming to be professional movers. They moved one piece at a time in and out of the elevators at both locations. No significant hustle from either guy. Both "joked" about the "long" walks. They didn't think about angles when trying to get the sofa in the elevator and didn't fully listen when I explained. The inside guy didn't place/prop up delicate items (e.g. mirrors) wisely; just propped them against walls and other items with no support. The overall cost was almost twice what I paid 1 year earlier for the move into the storage unit, from very similar premises. Based upon this experience, I won't be using Father & Son Moving again and I do not recommend Father & Son Moving.
