Chartering a boat with Capt. Sean of Channel Islands Charter was a wonderful experience! Very welcoming and he took great care of us. Got to snorkel and kayak right next to Channel Islands. The dolphin sightings on the way out and back was a bonus. I'd definitely rebook!

Captain Sean makes a beautiful adventure feel like you're at home. He's genuine and laid back but also experienced and intelligent so we always felt safe and invite best hands. He made every accommodation for our family of 5. We kayaked, hiked, swam on private beaches and sailed with pods of dolphins. He was our chef- cooking three tasty meals for picky kids and foodie adults. Coffee was perfection! He cleaned up after all of us and was always ready to help, but not in an intrusive way. We brought our 3 girls ages 5, 10, 11. Sean was terrific with them! They all thought he was funny, relaxed and felt comfortable with him off the bat. He's a professional and also a really enjoyable person. After three short days, we call him a friend. Don't hesitate to book with Sean! Well worth every penny.

Sean took us out on the Good Wife and had the best sailing day! What a great sailor, great human being and shared great conversation. We all really enjoyed spending the day with Captain Sean! We highly recommend him!!!

We explored secluded spots around the islands, and the natural beauty was breathtaking. I highly recommend them for a personalized sailing adventure.

CPT Sean Quine was an excellent tour guide, captain, and host in all respects. My family and I had a great day on his sailboat, thanks to his storytelling, laid back attitude, and positive outlook. I can’t recommend a trip with him enough! I have had few excursions that have been enjoyable as his.

This is a great trip! When my wife and I decided to get out of town for a sailing weekend, we originally looked at the BVI's. And while that is fantastic destination, we wanted a trip in October, which was still during the Caribbean Hurricane season. Instead we focused on the West Coast and found great reviews for Channel Islands Charter. And I'm happy to report the reviews are spot on. I’ve chartered 20+ boats over the last 15 years and this is the best. Captain Sean is a great guy, works his tail off and has a great boat. He’s patient and laid back but nothing is left to chance. The Good Wife is well equipped and the Channel Islands are a treasure, if largely unknown by us heretofore - but we’ll be back. Our 2.5 day trip included hiking, kayaking, fishing and as much sailing as the wind would allow. Captain Sean prepared breakfast, lunch, dinner and mid-meal snacks. All were outstanding. He’s communicative pre-trip to ensure he takes care of your dietary wishes and desires and is always mindful of the weather. We sailed each day when the winds picked up. In between we had plenty to do. As a beginning sailor, Captain Sean brought me in to his world. He’s an instructor as well as a guide and I learned a ton on this trip. If you love to sail, want to learn or are just looking for an outstanding, safe adventure in and around one of our National Park treasures, this trip is a must.
